Powerful company

Well, I have been dealing with Manheim for over 10 years. They are a decent company overall. There are few infrastructure issues which need resolution. Cox purchased established companies with different guidelines so the same people and their attitudes are in charge. It would have been better to replace these people or create another role for them so they would understand their culture better. That way they could keep with their mission statement. With that being said, I am continually having problems dealing with their auction differences, one place they may rate a car a 4.2 and another with same car and it would be rated lower. It differently cultural. I am complained about this to corporate and was told that the auction must handle it. That is really a cop out. There should be something in their corporate structure that resolves this issues or at least train differently. Maybe having an independent auditor review each location and business entity would be helpful. Overall, I buy into their business. I appreciate certain aspects. This has been earned by them. It was not an easy road but we have gotten this far. Their outside sales person, Tom, was a real ball buster. He only has his agenda in mind and not the business at hand. (He was released after Nextgear was sold, thank you for that one.) We have to make it better for everyone. Unless we push back, it will not change. Don't just walk away unless you have tried and resolution was not even attempted.
