I am really disappointed in the quality of the food and the length of time it takes to have drinks and food brought to our table. Today was the third time the chicken was served to me without being cooked all the way through. I realize on Friday and Saturday nights, the restaurant can be very busy, but that is no excuse for our table waiting nearly 40 minutes for the first bar drinks to be served. We waited 30 minutes for the second drink and again that long after ordering a third round. (The waiter kept warning us about the effect the EverClear would have on us but there was so little of it in the drinks, none of us could tell it was not just a fruit punch drink.) When my dinner FINALLY arrived, once again the chicken was not cooked completely. The waiter took the plate to the kitchen and not 5 minutes later, another uncooked chicken breast was delivered to the table. Cheddar's was a wonderful place to dine when it first opened and for quite some time after that. We have been regular customers there over the years and enjoyed chicken, shrimp, New Orleans pasta, the grilled fish, ribs, onion rings, as well as salads. What happened to the service level and the food quality? I am sorry, but we are going to look for another company for our dinner parties.
