Poor service all around

Montronics installed a home security system. They spliced it into an existing ac outlet which began arching and blew out the transformer of the alarm with a month. I could have caused a fire. I made multiple phone calls to the company to no avail because they closed their office in Huntsville , AL. I paid for 1-1/2 years of service of which I did not receive. I made so many phone calls it was pathetic, and was dismissed. After 2 years they finally sent someone out and they told me I would have to pay for a new unit of almost 500.00 dollars to have service restored. When I threatened legal action, they told me the rest of the contract was forgiven and 2 years later was contacted by a collection agency.
