Poor quality zippers and warranty S-l-o-o-w.
Update by user May 18, 2019 I finally received my jacket on May 17th 2019. They did a great job. The main zipper I had problems with was replaced with a very heavy duty one that looks like it will last at least for my life. I am happy with the service and support. I just was not thrilled with the time it took. However, many if not most products have no way to get them repaired at all, let alone at no charge (except shipping to North Face) they repaired and replaced the zippers, added a heavy duty zipper and did not charge even for shipping back to me. I'm a happy puppy and would recommend North Face and would just advise you to be patient. Original review posted by user May 10, 2019 I decided to finally spend some serious cash and treat my 76 year old self to a high quality winter jacket. I ended up with a North Face jacket with hood. Worked just fine for about a year until 2 zippers broke and would no longer work. At 76 years old you can be sure I didn't treat them rough. I used the 'Repair Return Form' from their web site and spent over $40.00 sending it to the repair facility in California. They stated it would take 6 to 8 weeks and I got my mind around that. That was the end of January and it's now the middle of May and I have not received any notice of it being returned repaired. It's been about 14 weeks. They tell me it's in the system and I will receive an EMail with a tracking number when it will be returned. Still waiting. I have been using an OLD 20 year old winter jacket that looks pretty shabby but all the zippers still work just fine and cost far less. Disappointed.
