Poor quality & terrible service

We bought a bed frame and mattress and in less than 6 months the slats had warped (massively) and the mattress had a huge indentation in it. The quality of both bed and mattress is rubbish and, for a bit more money, we bought a really great mattress from Loaf and far superior bed frame from IKEA. In addition to a poor quality product, the service is honestly amongst the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. I sent more than 20(!) emails over a period of more than a month chasing people and trying to find out what was happening with my complaint. They often take a week to respond (if you remind them every couple of days). Eventually I called World Stores but you have to wait on hold for a long time and then someone just tells you someone else will get back to you. But no one does. They won't transfer to you a manager and they won't let you wait on hold until one is available. If you ask them to, they threaten to terminate the call (this actually appears to be policy). Eventually World Stores agreed to replace the slats and refund me for the mattress. After more than 15 phone calls over the past two weeks, I've received neither. I dealt with Emma Mitchel, Zoe Longhurst, and a manager called Ray Jordan (amongst others). Save yourself the hassle and spend a bit more money on something that will last more than 6 months.
