My husband and I purchased a Hammary (Mountain Lodge) dining set about 11 years ago. The chairs, seats and backs, are leather. The chair seats are splitting and cracking open. We have barely used the set over the years, using it primarily for company on special occasions. This leather has not worn well and we are very disappointed with the quality of the leather on these chairs. BTW: at the same time we purchased this set from Hammary, we purchased a Tommy Bahama dining set with leather seats for our kitchen. We use this set EVERY day and not so much as one nick, crack, scratch, or blemish of any kind has altered the appearance of these chairs. They look as brand new as the day we bought them. I would recommend buying Tommy Bahama for better quality.
