My Sony Bravia XBR55X800E needs service work just over 2 years from purchase date. Customer support suggests I find a service provider because warranty was only 1 year. On line reviews suggest this is not an isolated incident. User's recommendation: Research carefully. I was led to believe Sony meant quality.
