I had rented your biggest unit off of 19th Ave &;;;;;;;;;;; Peoria 3 1/2 yrs ago. When you rent you state what you are storing which I was storing my whole house in your 20 x 30. The people next to me was storing beer & pop cans. Well I did not take your insurance cause I had my house insurance which was more than what you had offered. I have used Extra Space Storage for many years & never had a problem. But at 19th Ave.I had rats in my unit, went to the office there was nothing they could do. I put traps in the unit every where. Had about 10 dead ones that I had removed in the 3 1/2 yrs. I had paid almost $15,000.00 in that time, I had over $30,000. Of damage to my stuff, & the manager at that time told me not to worry about the huge mess as he would take care of it a week went by & he left a message that I had to come clean up the mess & pay rent for the time that My mess was in there. When I called back the new manager asked me how I was paying & when was I coming to clean up the mess. I came unglued I told the new manager what had transpired before. He told me not to worry & he would take care if it. I would like something from extra space clearing me from any charges. As I stated before I have used you in the past & will use you again more than likely, so I don't want some charges come up on me later. By the way my insurance would not pay for rodent damage. So I am out over $30,000. In damages to furniture & my personal items. Replaceable items.. your manager should be a little more respectable of their renters items.
