Poor Customer Service/Unable to Make Payments

I have a 2nd mortgage with them. Had been making payments up until May 2020. They returned my payment. I contacted them and was told that the loan matured 11/19 even though I was not previously informed, and they could not accept monthly payments.....even though they had been up until May 2020. Oh, and I could not longer access my account via their website. They forced me to apply for a loan modification only after they reported my loan 30 days past due on my credit report. They still would not let me make payments via the telephone. I called to get a status of the loan modification after receiving a letter of receipt from them, I received a certified letter from them stating the loan is past due even though have my loan modification application. I've been hung up on several times by them. I've been told that it would take 24-48 hours before someone can call me back. I want this resolved! User's recommendation: Stay away from PHH Mortgage if you can.
