Poor Customer Service from Management

Hello, My name is Crystal Thomas. My fiancé and I ate at your establishment 6/26/2019 at store 3650. We eat at Perkins all the time and never had any issues. On June 26 my fiancé went to the the Perkins website to use the 20% off coupon off your order that Perkins was offering to their customer.As the cashier was ringing us out she stated that the coupon came up expired when she put it in the system. The General Manager stepped in as the cashier was trying to think of a solution to help us and said yes it’s expired and it’s nothing we can do about it. My fiancé then asked why will they still have it up on their site for customers to use if it’s expired. She then replied and stated she don’t know. He asked her can she honor it since we was under the impression we will be able to use it and she said she wouldn’t honor it. At the bottom of the check it also had an offer to get 20% so we suggested we use that and she wouldn’t honor that one either. She stated we can use it on our next visit. With all this being said. We were very respectful and feel the Manager could’ve handle the situation much better for us as customers. We go to Perkins on the weekend we are off and always spend $25 or more and tip our waiters good. This was a very upsetting to me. I can be reached at 513-952-****
