I have a VA Loan and do not pay property taxes in accordance with my county exemptions for disabled veterans. My loan was transferred to Freedom Mortgage, and they refuse to work with me to remove the tax escrow from my account. They obviously do not know how to modify loan agreements for veterans who are tax-exempt. I have sent numerous emails and spent hours on the phone without any resolution. Their only interest is making money and have no real understanding of what customer service is. User's recommendation: DISABLED VETERANS - DO NOT use this mortgage lender.
