Poor CS response

I wanted to upgrade my software but was unsure if my older version 7 was entitled to be upgraded to 11. On the advert it said to contact CS for queries on compatibility but when I did they said they did not have the information and I needed and I had to open a 'support ticket'. I tried to do this but none of the given options suited my enquiry. I was surprised that their CS were unable or unwilling to discover the answer to my quite simple question. So sadly this UK resident won't be upgrading. User's recommendation: Beware poor CS.
