Each year this pool has closed down for months saying the pool has to be checked out and fixed . Ok a few months go by. This year they tell us after 4 months that we have to wait 2more months because the earthquake of 2011or2012 caused damage to the pool. Yes they put our membership fees on hold but what is the problem with this facility. Is it truthful or another case of BS or what. It's inconvenient to all the members that are friends and we all use this pool for years, they tell us each year stupidity and now another story, the earthquake. This brooklyn sports club is built on garbage like the remainder of the buildings in the area and what effect can occur to a pool liner. The pool is not concrete. Their are no cracks. No leaks. Just the same closing s each year but now it's going to be six months this year. This facility has a problem and should not be offering membership to a pool if they cannot have a fool program plus a few weeks each year to clean. Something has to be done. I am sure at this facility it must be receiving funds from city, state or federal. If my tax dollars and the other members tax dollars are being used for their programs then the facility must be functioning for all and not the few. Also if we use this facility, how do we know that when it goes on-line that it is healthy and safe to use. Why and what makes it difficult for this facility to operate? Do they have the money to operate safely since so many repairs are occurring? Why do they have so many problems?
