My husband got caught by this. We ended up paying out $4917.32 for a 12-month short-term accident policy with a $2500 deductible - and I wasn't even included on the policy. Oh boy. Even though the policy period said it was effective until 2/26/15, they continued to deduct premiums from our bank until 5/16/16. I assumed it was for an ongoing health insurance policy, but it was short-term. I have just now caught this and am trying to contact them about why they continued to take premiums from us. Advice: Always have a second-party look at these things with you. This was sold to him by Western Heritage Insurance Marketing Group. Hint: "Marketing" DON'T GET CAUGHT BY THESE SCAMMERS.
