My wife ordered a conversion kit, that makes a full size bed from a crib. She ordered it from the owner directly and as usual he was the biggest *** to her. She got nothing but attitude from this guy right from the start but she went ahead with the order because we did not know where else to go to get one. Well this was in August and we were told 4-6 weeks. Long story short well it is mid November and we just got it. I cannot count the number of un-returned phone calls, it got to the point were I am quite sure he new our number and just stopped answering the phone. The only time he bothered to call was to tell us if we wanted it, we should go out to Mississauga to pick it up ourselves. This store is a joke to say the very least. I feel bad for the employees. They seem very nice, competent and I get the feeling that they get a lot of complaints as it relates to this owner. I think this guy (the owner) gets off being rude to women but when ever a man tries to confront him he seems to be unavailable....... Last but not least when I pick the kit it still had the invoice on it, the one from the manufacturer to Baby Shack $99.00! He charged us well over $200.00 plus made my wife pay up front, before he would even order it. What a scam! Well for anyone else who needs a conversion kit the company is called Caramia Furniture and they are located in Mississauga, just google them if you need one, go direct and save about $150.00. I own a business as well and if I treated my customers like this, I would not still be in business. Reputation to me is everthing and people need to know about stories like this before they decide to spend their hard earned money. For us we will never go back to this store. You make up your own mind but now, at least, you have been warned!
