Physician left bone in my butt which caused a coxxygeal hernia.

1

Dr. Stephen Esses performed a coxxygectomy on me and left a piece of loose bone where surgery was performed. Piece of bone caused a coxxygeal hernia. Three surgeons had to be there to perform repair. All three surgeons saw the piece of bone. Repair had to be performed again a year later. We spoke before medical board panel. They decided physician met minimal standards of board. Too bad for me.If it had been one of their butts with a hernia that changed their lives forever, (can't sit, can't ride in car more than an hour, can't do any work that I planned on doing after retirement) they would have found negligence! They are volunteers - Dr. Esses probably paid them off. He is in with a malpractice lawyer in Baytown. He has even done same thing to other patients. My hope was that he would not be able to do hernia surgeries on other patients. User's recommendation: Don't waste you time before going before the Texas Medical Board. They think it is acceptable to leave a piece of bone after surgery to cause coxxygeal hernia that was tried to be repaired and I will suffer now the rest of my life while Dr. keeps doing same surgery on others.
