Phone call appointment

I usually phoned to book an exact time to my regular hairdresser. A lady who answered the phone very impolite don't want me to speak to my hairdresser and she stated she's here till 6:30 today my concern is i want to go and have a haircut if my hairdresser is free. Went to the store at Fischer Hallman, kitchener and a lady who spoke to me on the phone said" she's going for a lunch break". Why she doesn't want me to speak to my hairdresser so i don't want to wait for so long. Meaning you guys do not accept phone appointment?
