Personal Loan Nightmare

1

**DO NOT TRUST AINSLEY CREDIT FINANCIAL; AKA: AINSLEY FINANCIAL GROUP** Like most people, I applied for a personal loan with the company listed above; which is not a crime. However, most people are denied a loan because they do not have a strong credit score or have too many inquiries or delinquent accounts to be approved by a traditional bank or financial institution. After a few days.. I received a call and an email from a person by the name of Anna Turtle, she was a Sr. Loan Officer (supposedly). I had been approved for a personal loan of: $5,000 with an 8% interest rate and a 3 yr/36 month term. I was very excited and felt relieved to have been APPROVED for a loan that I was very much in need of. Since my credit has some glitches.. I was given 3 options in order to have the funds deposited into my bank account. (1) co-signer with a 750 or higher credit score. (2) submit a collateral payment of $450 which is 3 months of payments upfront as good faith. (3) pay the $1000 insurance fee upfront which would be in case I default on repayment.. that would cover my payments. I chose option 2, and did not think twice because.. I was believing that I was honestly APPROVED and that I was going to have the funds deposited into my bank account. Sadly, the company was a crock and a scam altogether.. I wired the funds as I was asked to do to py my first 3 months of payments upfront. Then, I was asked to send another 2 months of payments because my credit score supposedly dropped significantly since the date I was approved for the loan. By that point. I had enough and I refused to send any more funds. I asked them to refund the $450 that I sent to them as I was no longer interested in the loan. I was advised by Anna Turtle.. that the accounting department would handle refunding the money to me and that I would receive an email with their contact information. When I asked to speak to someone in accounting... I was hung up on. When I called her back.. she did not answer the phone. Instead.. I was sent to her voicemail. I have since yesterday.. filed a police report, put a freeze on my credit report, and the local authorities are handling the investigation further. Western Union was also notified and a case was filed with them. All emails and correspondence have been turned over to law enforcement, and of course I had to close my bank account since they had my personal information. The phrase: *If something is too good to be true it probably is" that.. it a very true statement. My advice.. if you have rough credit..just work on rebuilding it and paying off past debts.. monitor your credit report.. work to fix your credit.. and do not fall victim to these cowardly, ruthless, pieces of *** fabricated companies.. who seek out people who are in need or hoping someone will give them a chance to obtain a loan. These people are unethical and making money off of someone else's bad luck. Only send money to people you actually know (family, friends, etc).
