Pedestrians at risk

1

NYC streets are dangerous. On 57th Street/2nd Avenue - a pedestrian was run-over by a biker- she was in the crosswalk walking with the light. Bikes ride in the wrong direction in bike lanes, and commercial bikes have no license, or other ID. When a pedestrian is injured...the person has no legal recourse - as the bikers are not required to carry insurance (like car and truck drivers must have). Lawless bikers are a menace - and it is getting worse.
