I just experience the same problem with Nationwide Auto & Truck Warranties out of Litchfield Park Az.... We bought an extended warranty policies after our original went out.... in Aug 2011. We bought the policy thru Nationwide Auto & Truck Warranties. After 3 months and 3000 Plus miles. Our Engine light came on. We brought it to the Dealership and have them checked. off course, there were other up sale like p/s pump leak and some wiring. Anyway, it got Denied. We called and called. Finally, we talked to the guy name Jim. At first he going to sent a inspector down. But week went by and nothing. Then he told us to have a second opinion. So, We did by bringing to a different shop. He (joe) checked and couldn't fine any codes, p/s was so small that he couldn't pinpoint the problem. He told us to drive it until light came back on or leak,noise happen. then bring back in. So we did. After two plus month. The Check Engine Light never came back on but we saw a drop in the drive way. So we brought it back to (joe). He checked and confirmed that our p/s pump is leaking... He called and faxed all paper work into Nationwide Auto&Truck Warranties. Off course, It got Denied again. So we called in and talk to Jim. He Denied due to pre existing.. I said "OMG Are you kidding me?". He hung up on me. We called back but no answer. So, We called Stacie the sale rep.. She told us that someone else will call us back. Hour later someone did. But he wouldn't give us his name. i asked about 3 times. Anyway, after 15 minutes into the conversation I know that they are Not going to cover the repair. So I asked " is this a Scam or something"... He went off, calling me all kind of names. cussing me out..." you F ***, dumb *** Asian" making fun of my accent and all. I couldn't take it.... I told him" I wish he was in front of me talking like this" i was so pissed that if I know where the company is at? i would fly over and confronted the guy. I never experience anyone so Rude, Racial, Unprofessional Ever. He then told me that he going to Cancel my warranty affect now. Anyway, Be aware.
