Patriot Plus Travel “insurance” is not really an insurance plan. It’s just a scam to make people feel as though they have coverage when they really don’t. Everything actually covered under this policy would be provided by an emergency room who could not force you to pay if you did not have the resources. ER’s can not refuse emergency services to people who can not pay. Their only recourse for demanding payment is to turn people into collection agencies and making reports to credit bureaus post treatment. People with travelers insurance are from other countries and do not have USA SS#s and are therefore immune from this type of pressure. So again, this “insurance” is useless and nothing but services already covered by emergency rooms are included in this policy! We were denied Precertification trying to see a doctor for a sinus infection as well as severe menstral cramps. Lastly, look at the quality of the positive reviews for this company on the internet! Scroll down and actually read them! They seem mostly fake! As if they are made by employees or bot farms. Do not waste your money! I want a refund for the unused portion of our 3 month policy!
