Patient care
UOFA medical center in Tucson Arizona used to be a good place as far as medical care went. Then Banner health systems got involved and services went down the tubes. If you call about a problem your having, you get an automated system. When you do finally get to talk to a live person, you get the runaround. If your lucky, you may get a call back about your problem two or three days later. sometimes longer. I had an appointment on March 16, of this year. It cost me $183.85 to see Joel T. Funk my doctor. A whole twenty minutes later I walked out of the place. Can you imagine that? $183.85 for twenty minutes. I need surgery as him and I discussed. And now four months later I finally get scheduled for it. Is this a sign of progress in the medical profession? Seems to be more about the money than actual patient care.
