passenger waits 25 mins for bus new year’s eve, hails bus, driver sped past without stopping

1

A friend of mine in her late 50s waited about an hour on New Year's Eve for a G10 bus to pick her up. When she complained about the first bus driver not stopping for her at stop no 17 on Goodwood Road going into town, scheduled to depart stop 18 at 11.17 pm, didn't even slow down or indicate he was going to stop despite her desperately hailing the bus, waving arms, even stepping onto the road, Caucasian male bus driver with short brown hair staring straight ahead not even looking at stop 17, Adelaide Metro tells her in an email that CCTV footage shows that the driver collected 3 people from stop 17. That's not true. Friend walked to stop 18, waited more than half an hour for final bus for the evening heading into town due to depart stop 18 at 11.47 pm. This bus driver, young Indian-looking man, collected the lady who had been waiting about an hour alone at two bus stops in the cool windy dark. Friend believes that first bus driver who should have stopped earlier at stop 17 was preoccupied with own thoughts and not paying attention. Friend was careful to give full accurate details to Adelaide Metro but they are telling her that CCTV footage shows that the first bus driver collected 3 people! Friend feels that bus company is simply covering up for the driver.
