On December 13th I paid 150.00$ to Bayside Medical Center based in Hawaii for an online PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification class/ exam. Their website home page says that their training "Adheres to ECC and AHA Guidelines" and that it is 100% online. What they don't tell you is that their 'provider cards' are not AHA or American Red Cross sponsored and the cards are not valid for most HCP's (health care practitioners). I took their 'test' and passed with 84% on the first shot, never received the digital or hard copy card and a week later after attempting to call them to no avail, and sending 5 emails I finally got a response from 'Jennifer' who said that they have no record of my test. They finally issued me a digital card 30 days later; after I had paid another 110.00$ to the AHA to do their online course and luckily got my employer to do the skills test for free. Their card IS NOT AHA APPROVED, they ARE NOT an AHA training center. Their 'cards' are useless. Do not do business with these frauds. Their website can be found at: http://www.palscoursesonline.com
