Paid before they finished the job then told me I would have to wait till they found time to come back to finish instead of coming back the next working day to finish

I hired them to do painting in a rental home I have. They came out on August 14 I talked to them about 7p.m. they informed me they had not finished but would be back out on Monday to finish. I took their word for this (stupid) I paid them for the complete job...
