Package lost, emails back and forth, store credit

My package said it was delivered, but it wasn't here. I'm guessing it got lost in the mail. I emailed ColourPop and they said to get back in a few days - which I did. Their reply was to wait again, and get back to them in a few days. I did, then told the same thing. It took a week and a half of emailing and being told to wait, but by the time they finally decided to re-ship my items, one of them was out of stock and I was given store credit for my missing item. If they had re-shipped it within a few days, my item would've still been in stock. User's recommendation: Don't order on Black Friday, the shipping will be a mess. Pray you don't have to email CP.
