Oxbury Research Newsletter Scam
To date, I've been the unwitting recipient of 3 Oxbury Research spam solicitations promoting one paid investment service after another. Having never opted in to receive such promotions from them, or anyone affiliated with them, I see this as a direct violation of the Canned Spam legislation enacted over 5 years ago to protect consumers online. Other words, somehow Oxbury obtained my email address and illegally marketed to me online. Oxbury Research, by the way, is a supposed investment research outfit, drummed up by Mitchell (Mitchie) Sachs, which strikes me as a weakly orchestrated alias designed to connect somehow with the Goldman-Sachs financial juggernaut. For *** and giggles, I played along with Oxbury's game, and read some of what they had to say. Turns out, its web site functioned sporadically, pages didn't load, a free report I was supposed to get never came, and there wasn't a shred of evidence from my google searches that oxbury research even existed as a real company. Conclusion-- avoid oxbury research like the plague. your money's surely better off under your mattress than with these scheisters.
