The tech arrived and said it needed a new computer board at a cost of $562, and further stated it was a very common problem on this model. We got Sears repair to come in after that, and the problem was that the child lock button was engaged, that's it. Clearly this was a textbook case of trying to take advantage of an out of town owner. Franchise owner and franchise corporate office would not return calls.
