Ordered new cutting deck housing – still waiting 5 months on

I ordered a new cutting deck housing in June - Now coming into November. Still no news on when it will be delivered. Briggs & Stratton thought it would be a good idea to take down their entire parts ordering system to upgrade it over 4 to 6 weeks. Can you imagine the backlog that generated!!! We are now approaching November and they still have not got on top of the back log generated. I was told mid October, that has now been and gone. They have now said they don't know. There has been no apology from B&S, no acknowledgement of the problems they have caused. They have refused any compensation or discount as a way of apology. It doesn't matter how good a product is, if when you need to buy spares, you cannot get them. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING TO DO WITH BRIGGS AND STRATTON. THEY DO NOT RESPECT OR CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
