Order new motor
1
One day the fan worked; the next day it just stopped. After a certified electrician evaluated the fan, it proved to be a burned out motor. Researching the Internet showed that burned out motors was very common with Harbor Breeze. It is my contention that the fan should be under warranty, but Lowes personnel said to just buy a new fan. (of course, because they make more money). Trying to contact Harbor Breeze by email or phone was impossible. We would like to get a new motor because we LOVE this fan! It is copper, and we've never seen one even close. User's recommendation: Don't buy a Harbor Breeze fan because there is no support and motors burn out within 3-6 months.
