Order never arrived, customer service lies

I ordered a basket for my 91-year-old Pops 2 weeks before Christmas. The charge showed up in "pending" on my credit card. A couple of days after the order was placed, the charge moved to "paid" and I assumed the gift had been sent! However, my Dad NEVER RECEIVED THE GIFT. Any evidence of the charge was removed from my credit card. I never received a text or e-mail notice of a canceIlation. I spoke with customer service and he guaranteed the gift would arrive by Christmas. He lied. I had always thought of Harry and David as a quality and professional organization - until today. I will never order from this unreliable "business" again. Customer Service is definitely not a priority. Guess this at-one-time class act doesn't need any more customers. Well, they just lost this one. User's recommendation: Don't order! May never show up, with no notification of cancellation. Customer Service lies!
