A family friend ordered a headstone from select memorials who are now trading as orchid memorials. She tried copius amount of times to contact them regarding delivery of the headstone to no avail. When they did eventually answer an email they said their phone lines werent working and should be corrected soon. Not long aftermy friend received a letter from the company stating that they had gone bust and she had no way of getting her money back. Now this is a distraught widow living on bereavement allowance only and has no other money to pay for her husbands headstone. Select/orchid memorials are disgusting vile people who arent there to help people. they are rip off merchants with no regard for anyones feelings. I hope they are never put in this situation, but they wouldnt be would they, they have plenty of other peoples money to pay for something like this. Vile cretins!!!
