We brought 2 pairs of School shoes, (ACTION shoes make) - one Boys model - with lace etc and the other Girls model (Size4) with Buckle etc. In fact we were returning from our home town in Alleppy at night, when we heard of the Statewide Hartal the next day. So we stopped at a shop and purchased these 2 pairs of shoes, and returned home, which is about 70 kms from alleppy. On the first day of wearing this pair of shoes, in the afternoon, for the Girls shoes( cost 198/-) the buckle of one of them came off and this has rendered the pair not usable without taking them to a cobler. My daughter could not wear it even for a single day. I am very much angered by this incident. Action Shoes, being a very poppular shoe brand, mainly in the kids shoes sector, this experience is frustrating. I understand that this costs just Rs198/- and so it is not a very valuable item or an item purchased for lifelong purpose. But when I buy a branded item like this, I expect to get the value for my money.
