My boyfriend was quoted a free foot consultation as a new client, then, in learning his injuries, was booked to see a specialist without being told the fees. THEN was given an X-ray, again WITHOUT being told the fees. A surprise charge of £250 and no solution. Needless to say we are out of pocket, totally gutted, and feel like we have been ripped off. The company claimed “Consultations and fees are confirmed by text and email by Fitter Feet for life when any appointment is booked. Fees for X-rays are dicussed and agreed during consultations prior to X-rays being taken. In addition a free consultation was given a second memeber fo staff.” (sic) HOWEVER, none of this happened, and I have the email/text to prove it. When I rang, they told me the specialist would call back, but she never did.
