I don't hardly know where to begin. Since tri-corner and gemcraft are now one in the same I suppose I'm going to leave this post on both sites. It's been over 14 months since we started this process. We were supposed to be in our home in October 2018. It is now almost July 2019 and we are still not in our home. We were giving the closing date of June 21st 2019. New furniture delivery Movers installers for internet TV etcetera all lined up to go. Hatter walkthrough June 18th and was told by the foreman there is no way we are going to close on the 21st. Sure enough we are not closing on the 21st. Today is June 20th. As of the 24th we are homeless. They don't care. We don't know what we're going to do. We already had two storage units we've been paying on for over a year. We are going to have to get Movers to move what's in our temporary home to another storage unit and live in a hotel. I haven't even tried finding a place it's going to accept us with 5 cats and a dog. From the get-go the lot we chose wasn't big enough for the house we wanted so we had pick a larger lot at twice the price. Why offer lots that don't support what you're selling??? Then that lot had a vein of walk through it that they had to blast. They didn't do it right the first time. Apparently they blasted at least once more that we were not aware of. Then the lot sat and sat and sat and sat. They told us they were waiting for special equipment to break up the Rock. That was a bold face lie. They weren't paying their contractors at that time so nobody was doing any work so for weeks we waited hoping something would be done to find out later why nothing was being done. At that point we got a lawyer fortunately we only got $500 loss out of it all with fees. We called her off because suddenly things were getting done and quickly. That's when gemcraft merged , took over or whatever they did. Seeing so much happening and being advised that their lousy contract left us practically no recourse we decided do not enter litigation. I'm not going to list all of the other issues as they are minor compared to everything else. I am quite concerned about the one-year checkup to fix things, the grading of the lot in the Landscaping that they do for future problems from what I've been reading from other people. On top of all of these problems with closing, we are losing deposits on deliveries, Movers, I have taken off work for two weeks to pack and prepare to move as I did my husband for several days. Chances are closing will be on a day when one of us absolutely cannot be available because of work. As of right now I'm terribly sick to my stomach as my life is falling apart in front of me in the next 3 days. Their solution is to beg our land lord for another week. Place is already re rented. Is another week enough??? No new closing date. Worried sick now....... On another side note house looks beautiful they had Amish and Mexicans working on it. In my opinion they did rather good work from what we have seen for the most part. HELP!!!
