I bought a fan from Home Depot about a year ago. Home Decorators brand. Paid $179 for it and nothing but trouble. The LED light quit after only a month or so. Now the fan won't turn on, something with the stupid remote. Apparently lots of problems with these...think it's the receiver in the fan. I'm sure out of warranty now. I'm a very busy person and didn't have time to pursue this in the warranty period. Home Depot wont do anything, including a complaint WITHIN the warranty period.... Home Depot, you suck too. When I pay 179 for a fan and spend the time and money to put it in, I expect the damn thing to WORK for years and years. I've had $50 fans (todays price) never quit after 20 years.
