Not sure what this business does?

HMS Warranty claims it is committed to making homeownership a pleasant experience. This could not be further from the truth. My girlfriend and I are new homeowners and thought getting a warranty would be a safe move just in case anything went wrong and they would help us through our problems. Soon after moving in our air conditioner and furnace decided to breakdown. The good news was HMS sent someone to investigate the situation. The bad news is we found out that we would need a new air conditioner and furnace. Trying to figure out what the next steps has been more difficult than the entire process of buying the house. HMS representatives give different responses each time we call with questions, and even had one representative hang up on us when we asked the simple question of "When can we expect to hear from a supervisor?" As far as I am able to tell it seems that all this company does is transfer phone calls and blame everyone but themselves for their inability to provide the services required to be an actual business. They even continually blame the local service provider that THEY chose and required us to work with! 90 degree heat and humidity is one of the joys of summer that is to be enjoyed in small doses. HMS has taken the joy out of summer and of being a homeowner. Maybe our AC will be fixed someday, but I'm not holding my breath.
