All I know is that this Convergent Outsourcing company popped up on my credit karma report this past month and it has tanked my score (Also across my FICO). I have contacted them, however am awaiting a response. I do not know what this "collections" is for, but this just put the noose around the neck of being able to get a private student loan. THUMBS UP> I need this fixed ASAP or this company is going to ruin my life. If this was a collection actually for me, I did have one over ten years ago that was a few grand less than this price they have supplied me with and it fell off the map for many years, then where did this company from *** come from and why is this back on my report. I have no idea why a small misfortune 14 years ago would be rearing it's ugly head at this very point in time, but this may explain why there is such a large population that do not even bother to go to college. If I cannot get a loan, I cannot get a good enough job, to pay these awful compounding bills in the first place. Flawed system that Convergent is clearing backing the degradation of America's struggling youth!
