Update by user Jan 16, 2020 To date, I have NEVER been contacted by anyone at Mike Castrucci Ford! Original review posted by user Dec 17, 2019 My family has purchased 5 cars from Mike Castrucci over the last 15 years. Just recently purchased a 2016 F150 Super Crew Cab truck with an extended warranty. A week ago (December 10th) the passenger door would not latch. My husband held it until we got home. We were able to get it to latch once at home only by keeping it locked. Contacted the Service Department at Castrucci the next morning (December 11th) advising the issue. I was told I could bring it in but didn't know when they would get to it because they were very busy. I explained that I did not have a way home and that I also needed a rental. Service rep stated that until they could find out what the problem was he would not be able to tell if it were covered. Again I explained that I had an extended warranty and I would need a car. His statement to me was, "we just don't give out loaners to anyone", and I could always rent a car myself. I asked him what the warranty was for. This is a safety issue and what happens if the door comes open when I'm driving? Again, with an attitude, said that wouldn't know until it was looked at. He did say he could get me a ride home. I reiterated that I needed a car to no avail. Then I asked when could I get an appointment, and he transferred me to the scheduling department where I was advised that I could bring it in on December 20th. I said stated that I can't wait that long and never mind. I contacted another Ford Dealership speaking with one of their service representatives and right away the person said he thought he knew what the issue was with the latch. Unfortunately he would not be able to get me in until December 17th and was very apologetic about that. Mind you have never had service with them before, and they were very helpful and understanding as well as giving me suggestions what I could do with the door until I got service. Turns out that it was a Ford issue and there are kits to repair at NO COST to me. I have also sent an e-mail to our Sales Person who we've dealt with for many years and voiced my frustration about this issue (there was an earlier issue with the Service Department last month) to which I have heard NOTHING. That speaks a lot about Mike Castrucci Ford and the employees. I will no longer affiliate myself with nor recommend them every again. I will take my business elsewhere (to the dealer that fixed the issue and who showed concern). Will no longer recommend Mike Castrucci Ford!
