Not receiving beneifts my husband is entitled to during Covid 19

My husband and I are both unemployed because of the pandemic. Both of us filed claims and been living on it ever since. We are fortunate to both eventually have our jobs back once Covid 19 pandemic is over. My husband certified these benefits online a week ago and followed all conditions it requires. If you are not aware you are required to apply for three jobs weekly. After certifying benefits online we called after a week of the money not being placed in our account. He wrote a message to them about this issue. All the response said is we will get back to you in a week. A few days later, he called to see if their investigation could be on a faster timeline. I called EDD and waited on the phone for 45 minutes handed the phone to my husband. The first representative took his info and immediately transferred him to a specialist. 18 minutes later, my husband was on the phone with the specialist, who did the same as the first customer service personal. While he transferred my husband was hung upon. I called quickly called back and waited another 45 minutes while playing on my computer. This representative was the most incompetent and poorly trained person I have ever having the misfortune to be connected with. My husband explained the situation, and the idiot said his benefits were all used up. This is not true, as in California through the Federal government, approved thirteen additional weeks of unemployment. The moron was so stupid he was arguing with my husband provides information about this I could tell my husband was getting angry, and I plucked the phone out of his hand and asked to be transferred to a supervisor. All the other customer service reps had no problem transferring people. He actually said he was unable to because they all were working from home. I know this is false. I hung upon him. Fortunately, the next service rep actually understood and was superior at his job. He was much more helpful and in the process of helping us. No thanks to that moronic poor excuse for a representative. User's recommendation: If you get an Indian guy hung up and talk to someone else at that agency.
