I was one of the original buyers and was happy with the resort for the first few years. As the maintenance went up and up it was not worth it, I could get a better deal from a travel agent. When I was on my last visit I offered my timeshare to someone who was renting a unit for a week, all of a sudden Diamond said they would take it back, no charge or fees. So happily I can say I am not an owner. User's recommendation: Check out the real value, do not buy without time to think it over.
