Non-Reciept of Product and No Refund after even 12 calls from UK each ending in about 25-30 mins

I ordered a LG Prima LWA5PR5D 1.5Ton (5 Star) Window Air Conditioner for my parents in India on 14th July 2012 and after booking it took about 3 days to come to cargo ready status. I enquired about delivery and I was told that I will receive an SMS [none received]. I had to call again and checked status and they mentioned that a sms has been sent already. I asked about status and the advisor mentioned that there is no control over delivery of item once purchased. After a lot of frustration for couple of days more I requested to cancel the order as there was no point in buying Air Conditioner after summers. I was told that it is going to take 48 hours to cancel the order. I wrote a mail to [protected]@naaptol.com and I was made aware that order is out for delivery and I should wait for 2 days and it would get delivered. I requested a cancellation and they mentioned to reject delivery to get my refund. I was not sure what to reject if I am not receiving anything. After 48 hours of initial cancellation request I enquired again and was put on hold for several minutes before some advisor could come and advise on status. Every time I called on and after 24th July I was promised 48 hours turnaround time to cancel my order and process my refund which was going to take further 7-15 days. So far my initial request and many subsequent requests have lived upto 16 days and no action has been taken. I was told today by one the adviser that my order is going to be cancelled today the 13th August 2012 . I was told by Divya Susai that they have received my request and they apoloised for the delay and my request has been escalated for processing refund. She stopped replying after that email and I have not recieved any reply on follow up emails. I am still not hopeful that order is going to be cancelled or someone would rise up to process my refund however there is nothing else I can do then waiting and keep talking to them on phone. I have so far spent £15 worth of calls [Rs. 1350] and you can imagine the amount ot time wasted in waiting for updates. I am not sure as how such companies are even allowed to do business and play with customers. I can easily see how bad the logistics management is performing in Naaptol with Zero control even negative control over deliveries. I can understand as what it takes to create such a big platform but it equally takes a lot of efforts to maintain customer trust. I would like to pass this message to Naaptol team that my trust is greatly devastated and I am going to inform as loud as possible to all my freind circle not to get involved with Naaptol as they are not trust worthy. It may be nothing for Naaptol to hold refund of Re. 28, 750 but it means a lot for my parents who are living a retired serviceman life. In a hope that you would read this complaint and act promptly to refund my order.
