non-delivery of a gift.

I ordered a gift for delivery for the 10th Oct 2019 and after the date came and went, I then emailed to enquire what was going on... still no reply to the email. I asked the recipient of the gift to please call Netflorist to follow up and they only got the sound of a ringing phone, which incidentally is all I got after the auto-answer on the UK number. What is going on?
