No service upon arrival for appointment

1

I went to a dentist 11/5/15 in regards to tooth pain. I have 2 molars the fillings fell out of. The dentist I went to was a new one to me. It turns out the fillings that were redone fell out and left nothing but a shell so both have to come out. I been in pain for the last week. I was referred to a Oral surgeon. I called and made an appointment. I was happy I got an appointment only a few days away from that dental appointment. I asked if they took my insurance just to double check they said yes. I was scheduled for today at 1:15. I went there with my ID, My ins card which is on my phone. I had my referral. The lady looks at the phone and says they need a physicians referral. I said the dr is a separate ins. My referral is from the dentist. She tells me she isn't allowed to speak to me let alone see me, so she said they can't see me and cancelled my appointment and refused services. She refused to explain why, or be even cordial about it. She was rude, very short with me and I was upset, in pain and in disbelief that she treated me that way.
