According to Shapiro Auctions (now listed as the contact for the website), items consigned to this website are now part of an estate of the late Victor Kholdokov of San Diego, CA. The administrator supposedly is Vladimir Baranovsky. Items which I consigned were sold without my being informed of the sale and without any compensation to me. Other items are in possession of the website and have not been returned to me despite my request that they be returned. I have contacted Mr. Baranovsky a number of times about this but there has been no reply to my inquiries. Has anyone else had dealings with www.russianartandbooks.com since Victor passed away last year?
