Update by user Jun 18, 2020 Autonation did call and left a voice message. I did return the call and it went to voice mail, left a message and I have not had a return phone call. Nothing has been resolved!!! Original review posted by user May 19, 2020 Purchased an abused truck!!! Not used!! Can not get the dealership to positively respond. Will not give me receipts for the return and shipping/return delivery charges. LONG LONG SENARIO Purchased a 2005 Chevy 2500 diesel through email, text, pics and very few phone calls(because no one would answer phone). On April 9, 2020 signed papers with Maverick and wired funds. No one contacts to say the received funds. Took and email to 4 different people to finally get one person to respond. Oh yeah, we received funds. Said it would be $300 to deliver to my home. If we weren't satisfied with truck we could return it no questions asked for half the shipping. Okay sounds good. They delivered truck 4/15/2020 when we weren't home and informed them we wouldn't be home that day because out of town at work. Yep, delivered across the street in the grass with truck locked and keys sitting on driver front tire. Any body could have taken the truck. So upon inspection of truck.....brake lights, tail lights and running lights didn't work. So we can't even take on a test drive because safety not working. Had to go to auto store purchase these bulbs and replace. Put the hood down and now running lights fell out. No clips(broken off) lights held in by cardboard. YES, I said cardboard(have pics). Some fluid leaking out from under truck right passenger side. Engles says, probably AC. Like I said, we haven't driven it. I had asked for rear driver side carpet to be cleaned (huge black spot) it was sprayed painted gray. It was never mentioned truck just got repainted. This truck was not used it was ABUSED. Next morning 4/16/2020 emailed wanted to return truck. Lots of questions why. Autonation made Arrangements for pickup 4/18/2020 no show, no call to inform me. Stayed home all day. 4/21/2020 same thing, no call no show. Finally showed 4/22/2020 to pick up truck. No one informed me if truck showed I had to text 4/23/2020. I asked for paperwork for return and Engles Argueta said, it takes 2-8 days until check is mailed. 5/8/2020 contacted Engels about check and receipts. He said, he would check into it. Never heard from him. Tuesday May 12, 2020 I received check and texted him to remind him that he never got in touch with me and no receipts. Always has an excuse. We were charged $935 to return. That wasn't the deal. Engles texted me these charges: (not copies of return, refund and shipping charges) $180 1/2 transport fee $225 restocking fee - never mentioned $360 transport fee - another transport fee - never mentioned $195 Maverick fee - never mentioned These do not add up to $935. Besides these are A LOT MORE CHARGES THAN INFORMED! As of today I still do NOT have receipts. Can NOT get a hold of anyone. I did everything I was suppose to. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER! Was mislead about condition of truck, wasn't safe to drive, and an ordeal to get my money back.
