No plates… still payments!

1

I bought a car in May 2017 from Harrelson Nissan. I traded in a 2015 Altima on a 2017 version. The vehicle has been fine, and, a few weeks after the purchase, they requested a copy of my driver's license, no big deal, things get lost. I was asked a total of four times for my DL. This might not sound important, but, it becomes more important later. I received notice that my plates had been transferred a few weeks later. Yesterday, I went online to get my new registration and found out that my plates were invalid and I could not get new ones! Turns out that the dealership had first given the DMV the wrong information (Vin number) from another customer's vehicle. Then there was an issue because the dealership had transposed my DL numbers and that's why my plates were invalid! Then, when I looked at my title complete notice, the dealership had given the Vin from the trade in to the DMV! Now I have no plates, a $284/month payment and NOTHING to drive! I am sitting in the dealership until they get this resolved! The longer I wait the more internet complaints they will get!
