No pickup??

On 8/22 a Central Transport BOL was created for us for pickup on 8/23 with a p/u window of 1 - 4 PM. We called for an ETA at 1:30 and was told that here was no truck in our area (E. side of St. Louis) that day and that it had been rescheduled for the next day 8/24 1 -4 PM. We called for an ETA at 12:30 and was told that the p/u would be 2:30 - 3:30. Called for a new ETA at 4:15 and was told the it would be in 30 minutes. Called again at 5 pm and was told that the driver came at 4 and nobody was there. (we were) and that the p/u had been rescheduled for Monday. We told the service rep that at 4:15 that the driver was on the way but now we were being told that the driver had arrived at 4 and nobody was there??? We were told that the driver would not turn around and come to p/u from us. I know that we are small (about $12,000 / yr) but still this is REALLY BAD!! Central Transport may be a few $$ cheaper BUT in reality it cost a LOT more!! Good buy Central Transport. Bill President of Simmons Enterprise, Inc.
