No no stops charging

My no no was great whilst it worked but once it ran out of battery It would not charge back up. It plugs into the charger, the battery indicator flashes to say that it is charging but as soon as you unplug it, the battery is still flat. Even after 24 hrs plugged in. This is *** given how much the device costs
