As a long term subscriber, I've watched House Beautiful go downhill from elegant and interesting to decorating that is beyond mediocre.. Sophie Donelson appears to be a no talent, and she's taken the magazine down with her. I have past issues that were so splendid, I have saved some for 20 years. Some of my best recipes (I am a retired caterer) came from your talented chefs, who were featured each month. I can find no food this month...maybe I missed it? All the decorating looks like it came from my grandmother's house, or Jonathan Scott decorated all the rooms on Property Brothers. What happened to elegant rooms with a WOW factor?? I will continue to take Veranada, which I love, but I'm on the fence about whether I will renew House Beautiful. This month's issue was looked at and went right to the recycle pile. Sophie needs to get some help and class this magazine back up, or should be replaced. No one cares about her "strings" in her app.
